Our Story

When our founder, Chris Solis, was traveling through Thailand in 2023, he noticed that many of the board game cafes there had laminated their own boards. He decided to start a new line of games that were fast, easy to set up, and made durably.

A few months after Chris started this initiative, long-time collaborator Kroze Kresky submitted the design that became Six-Sided Seas, kicking off a whirlwind adventure to make a new format of game.

Hundreds of players helped us test and refine this to be the ultimate playmat game, and now, we get to share it with the world!
